A.A Barrett is a 25yr old poet, illustrator, author and artist from Cornwall, U.K.
Her first book “Dear Maggie: A poetry collection” was released in April 2021 and is dedicated to her Grandmother Maggie. Many of her poems feature imagery inspired by the Cornish countryside.
A.A released a children’s story as her second book. ‘Evie-Me and the seasons’ is available to purchase now. £2 of each sale goes to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity UK, who have been a huge support during A.A’s daughter’s PKD journey.
In 2022 A.A released a second poetry collection. ‘To Mr. Van Barrett’ features illustrations by 90yr old Gwyn Barrett, A.A’s Grandfather. This book was released in dedication to Gwyn.
A.A is a student, studying a degree in Creative Writing and Art History. She is due to graduate in the summer of ’23
