The exciting line up of nationally acclaimed authors includes 2013 Booker Prize winner Eleanor Catton, marine conservationist Charles Clover, comedian and Radio 4 ranconteur Robin Ince, renowned historian James Holland and the legendary novelist Louis de Bernieres, whose latest novel is set in Cornwall.
As well as nationally renowned and local authors to entertain, entrance and inform, there will be high energy poetry readings, children’s events at local schools and workshops on creative writing, poetry, illustration, the Cornish language and much more.
This year’s festival opens up on Monday 16th October with the legendary Louis de Bernières – the celebrated author of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin. This will be an especially exciting talk as it will also be the publication week of his brand new, Cornwall-based novel, Light over Liskeard.
