Emily is an enthusiastic lover of country music, cats and books with her feet firmly planted in Cornwall.
She studied Creative Writing at Falmouth University before going on to complete a Masters in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa, where she wrote her first novel and learned insights into the publishing industry.
After completing her studies, she found she missed talking about her love of reading with others and became a blogger for her local independent bookshop Lost in Books and co-founded PaperBound Magazine, an online publication dedicated to showcasing creative talent from writers and illustrators, specialising in children’s and young adult fiction.

When not writing, Emily spends her time walking her dogs with her family, watching New girl on loop, or reading beside the sea.
