Modern Folk Tales Submissions – Maker Heights

Modern Folk Tales Submissions – Maker Heights – submit any style of writing to the prompt of ‘Modern Folk Tales’. Deadline 12th September 2024.

• All entries will be included in a GIVEAWAY – a chance to win signed copies of Cornwall Beneath and Beyond, and Twelve Stories for Twelve Sections – with a name picked out of a hat at random.
• 2 Runners Up will receive a 10% discount code for Cornwall Writers’ latest short story collection Cornwall Beneath and Beyond
• The winner can collect their book prizes at the Cornwall Beneath and Beyond event which takes place on Sunday 15th September as part of a Literary Day with published short story authors. The winner will also have the opportunity to read their story as part of the Cornwall Beneath and Beyond event if they would like to.
• All participants have the chance to read the piece they have written at the Modern Folk Tale Gathering at 7pm on Friday 13th September around a campfire in the World War II bunker at the Maker Heights Campsite. Spaces are limited so sign up quickly!
