Description
Detective Inspector Meg Dalton has recently returned to her Peak District roots to pick up the pieces after a breakdown, when a man’s body is discovered in a cave.
The man’s initials and a figure of the Grim Reaper are carved into the cave wall behind his corpse, but bizarrely, the carvings have existed for over one hundred years.
The locals talk about a mysterious family curse that started in the times of the witch trials, and Meg finds it increasingly hard to know who to trust. Even her own mother may be implicated.
Meg finds her own life at risk as she fights to stop the murderer from killing again.

Refund Policy
If you change your mind, we can only give refunds if you cancel your order before we post it. As we incur processing fees on every order placed through our website, we will need to deduct that fee from your refund - usually about 3%.
If your product is damaged when it arrives, you can return it to us within 14 days of receipt for a refund or we will exchange it, whichever you prefer (see below).
Under the Distance Selling regulation, you have the right to cancel your purchase if you let us know in writing within 7 days of receipt and return all the items. If you cancel your purchase in this way we will refund your total purchase amount. Regrettably though, due to the trend for ordering, taking a selfie and returning, you will need to pay for the postage of any returns at the carrier of your choice. So please choose your product carefully. When you become a trusted and regular customer we will pay for any returns on your behalf.

If you are not satisfied with the quality of a product when it arrives, if you return it to us within 14 days of receipt we will exchange it or refund the amount you paid for the item, whichever you prefer. HOW TO RETURN
Wrap the unused item securely in its original package. Email sales@cornwallwriters.co.uk for a returns slip to include with your package. To exchange a product, please fill in the details of the exchange on the returns slip. Any feedback that you have about the product you are returning enables us to improve the products we sell, so telling us why you are returning it is especially helpful to us.

UK RETURNS BY ROYAL MAIL
Please remember to ask the Post Office for your proof of posting certificate and retain it for your reference until you have received your refund. The Post Office will supply a tracking reference number to prove the item(s) have been returned. We cannot process a refund if we do not receive the returned item so you will need your proof of posting in the event that the item isn’t delivered to us.
Please send all returns to the address provided on the returns slip we send you.
