Falmouth Fringe Book Festival

Terrace Gallery in association with The Writers Collective will be hosting a series of author talks and book signings to coincide with The Falmouth Book Festival and have invited talented Local Authors to let you into their world, talk about themselves and their books as well as sign some books for you all.

The talks take place on Friday 20th, Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd October between 10-6 pm in the private rooms upstairs in The Chain Locker Pub, Customs House Quay, Falmouth – refreshments available throughout the day.

Friday 20th – Hermitage Press Authors
10:00 Clare Dwyer: Author of poetry collection Murmurations, launched in January 2023
12:00 Scott Jones: Children’s author of Jack and the Time Machine.
14:00 Robin Falvey: YA Author of Fulmar which launched in August
15:30 Polly Roberts: Together We Evolve is Polly’s first publication with The Hermitage Press.
17:00 Kath Morgan: Author of The Bycatch Principle, this talk co-hosted by Dr Paul Taylor-McCartney.

Saturday 21st – Short Stories, non-fiction & memoir Authors
10:00 Emma Timpany:  A collection of short and other stories
12:00 Cornish Writers: On their two volumes of  Short Stories by local authors
14:00 Paula Rooney:  Odd Poles and baggy trousers a book based on her Camino experience
16:00 Sue Kittow:  Successful Non-Fiction author and latest fiction book The Rescue

Sunday 22nd – Fiction & Thriller Authors
10:00 Lamorna Ireland: Author of Unexpected Beginnings, Unexpected Truths, and Along a Cornish Creek
12:00 Jane McParkes: Author of A Deadly Inheritance, a cosy mystery set in Cornwall with an eco theme
14:00 Roz  Watkins: Author of the newly released and Times top 100 summer reads The Red House
16:00 Liz Fenwick: The Queen of Cornish Romance talks about her latest book The Secret Shore
